Mark Absher
Business Development Manager
Mark has been in the dental field since 1982, when he met his future wife Susan Hollar, D.D.S. in Arlington, Texas. Prior to dentistry, Mark was a system’s analyst and computer programmer for Southwest BankCard Systems.
He earned his B.S. degree from Illinois State University.
As a dental office manager for twenty-six years, Mark has watched his wife’s dental practice evolve from an upstart general practice to an exclusive restorative and cosmetic dental practice. His current interests are dental management consulting, lecturing and writing, website development, and marketing the cosmetic dental practice.

New to the family business, Sam Absher is DentalOptimization’s Account Sales Manager. In his final year at Texas Tech University, Sam brings a great deal of enthusiasm to our operation. His primary responsibility is to create and develop new business relationships, and to act as a liaison between our customer relations manager, Mary Mitchell, and web design architect, Vu Thai.

Natalie Armendariz
Visual Designer
Natalie has been obsessed with the internet and website design as long as she can remember. From Texas, Natalie returns to DentalOptimization after four years in New York City working as a senior visual designer. Natalie’s clients included fortune 500 companies such as Citibank, NFL, ESPN, Foursquare, Microsoft, Sony, T-Mobile, Qualcomm, AT&T. Natalie is an expert in identifying, conceptualizing, creating and producing usability-focused interactive experiences for the web and for mobile platforms.
She loves examining the multifaceted nature of human interaction, connecting it with the technology that has naturally become a part of our daily lives, and dreaming up ways to make those experiences more engaging and memorable. With a passion for designing simple, intelligent and intuitive websites and interfaces, it’s no surprise that her favorite quote is: “Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the meaningful”.
